David's on the record (along with former Gov. Frank Keating) with his belief that Oklahoma should sell water to Texas, rather than sit pat and watch hundreds of millions of dollars flow over the spillways, where it is lost forever to the brine of the Red River. A legit offer from Tarrant County ought to be considered.
Yesterday's Ft. Worth Star-Telegram editorial page agreed with David, opining "it's time to strike a deal."
"Both states could benefit from the north-to-south water transfer. Oklahoma, which has far more water than it needs, could gain potentially tens of millions of dollars in revenues year after year."
